Egyptian Collection - "Cleopatra" - Queen of Egypt.
Cleopatra (69-30 BC) came into power at age 18 and was a descended of Ptolemy I, a general who served under Greek King "Alexander the Great". During her reign, the Roman Empire threatened Egypt but her alliances with Julius Caesar and Mark Anthony helped Egypt remain independant for 20 years. She committed suicide after she was defeated by Octavian, Ceasar's heir. This figurine is based on a relief found in Komo Ombo, a temple from the Late Period of Ancient Egypt.
